How To Take This Class

Course Overview

In this Adobe Captivate 2019 Advanced Training course, students will learn to create interactive software simulations and control caption text by editing Captivate's text capture templates. They'll also see how to create responsive (mobile device) lessons using Fluid Boxes and Breakpoints that automatically reflow to accommodate displays including laptops, tablets and smart phones. In addition, students will learn about new Captivate features to to create virtual reality images and videos and interactive videos that include knowledge checks and other interactive objects.

Students will also fine-tune their production skills by learning about object styles, master slides, themes, and advanced actions. And they will learn to engage the learner like never before by using variables and how to create branching scenarios that will enable learners to plot their own learning path.

Finally, students will ensure their eLearning and mLearning output can be used by people with disabilities by adding such 508-compliant features as accessibility text and closed captions. Finally, students will learn about SCORM, AICC, TinCan, SCOs, Manifests, and how to upload a published lesson into a Learning Management System. This course also covers many other advanced Captivate topics including variables, widgets, advanced actions and reporting quiz results.
