In this Microsoft Power Platform App Maker Training course, students will learn how to build apps with low-code techniques to simplify, automate, and transform business tasks and processes using Microsoft Power Platform. This course contains a 1-day Applied Workshop. This workshop will allow students to practice their App Maker skills by creating an end-to-end solution to solve a problem for a fictitious company. The solution will include a Microsoft Dataverse database, Power Apps canvas app, and Power Automate flows.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  • Build both Model Driven and Canvas Power Apps
  • Design Tables within the Dataverse
  • Understand the different data types and column options with Dataverse Tables
  • Implement Security Roles with their Power App
  • Document and Test Power Apps
  • Use Navigation controls and functions with Power Apps
  • Use Power Automate to create flows
  • Use the Admin Center to manage security and governance for Power Apps
  • Use Power BI to extract, combine and transform data
  • Create and share reports using Power BI
  • Use the AI Builder and Power Virtual Agents within applications
