  • Create and configure SharePoint team and communication sites

Lesson 2: Unifying Sites with a SharePoint Hub

  • Create a hub site to connect multiple SharePoint sites
  • Apply a site template to standardize layout and structure
  • Customize site themes and navigation for a consistent experience

Lesson 3: Building and Organizing Site Content

  • Create custom page layouts to present information effectively
  • Manage files within document libraries
  • Organize and maintain list data

Lesson 4: Enhancing Data Quality in SharePoint Lists

  • Control and validate what users can enter into lists
  • Create calculated columns to automate data insights
  • Use formulas to ensure accurate and consistent data entry

Lesson 5: Extending SharePoint with Power Apps

  • Build a Power Apps application connected to SharePoint
  • Modify and enhance the app to improve user experience

Prerequisites

Participants should have:

  • Basic experience using SharePoint Online (viewing, uploading, navigating)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 apps such as Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive
  • Understanding of general web navigation and file‑management concepts

No prior site‑owner experience is required.
